“If There is NO Such Package…”
The object of my work is excessive packaging, and I created a total of ten websites to challenge the story of peeling back the packaging layer by layer to restore the original appearance of the object. This work is mainly implemented through web programming, so it has a more rational and easy-to-read aspect.
In this work, I wanted to give the viewer a more participatory and interactive experience, which is why I chose to use QR code and web pages. I added some personal experience and reality to the process of unpacking the package to better tell the story and present a sense of reality. I have searched for some data on each “package” and the consequences of over-packaging, and have added personal experience and concrete examples from life.
I hope audiences will reflect on the current situation and possible future environment of over-packaging after completing a series of interactions, which not only squeezes the living space of animals, but also restricts people’s space.
