MANDY LI
Bio
Mandy is a multimedia artist from Toronto, practicing mainly in digital art, painting, and watercolor. She is attending the University of Toronto Scarborough, and studying in the programs of Linguistics and Studio Arts. Much of her art is influenced by the diverse Western art culture. With learning about art history and evolution, she is passionate about expanding Chinese cultural art to the global market.
In addition, Mandy was inspired by the Chinese contemporary artist Ai Weiwei, in continuously promoting the amusing Chinese traditional culture to everyone around the world through his artworks.

ETERNITY
Everyone has their own personality and horoscopes, have you ever thought of what in the universe shapes the person who you are today? In Chinese traditional culture, each year in the repeating Zodiac cycle of 12 years is represented by a zodiac animal and each with its own reputed attributes. The order of the signs is Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig. Chinese people believe these traits will be embedded within people, and this will be a sign of luckiness.
Since the 12 Chinese zodiacs is a 12 year based repeating cycle, therefore the infinity symbol is involved in illustrating the meaning of eternity. No matter if it's a person from the past or future, there will be connections between each and every one of us according to zodiac signs. The appearance of the characters is designed with animal horoscopes and the Chinese traditional clothing from the Tang Dynasty. Also, some of these animals are demonstrated by references to the Chinese historical characters, for instance, the Chinese female empress Wu ZeTian, Mulan, and Monkey King.
